Phillips Backyard Music Festival returns July 10–12 to the heart of Victoria, BC for three days of unforgettable live music. This year’s lineup is led by global heavyweights Chance the Rapper, Father John Misty, and Modest Mouse and tickets are going fast. Sunday and Weekend Passes are already sold out, so if you’re planning to be there, Friday and Saturday are your move.

Friday night is headlined by Chance the Rapper, with support from DUCKWRTH, whose genre-blurring sound fuses hip-hop, funk, soul, R&B, and dance into a high-energy live experience. Plus, Victoria’s own Sophia Stel brings her rising alt-pop sound to the stage.

Saturday, July 11, belongs to Father John Misty - the charismatic crooner known for his sharp lyricism and commanding presence. He’s joined by Sudan Archives, returning with her signature electro-fiddle R&B, and hometown favourites Jon and Roy, delivering their breezy, feel-good island sound. Rounding out the day are Flower Face with melancholic indie-pop and Carmine.

Plus, a soon-to-be-announced Music BC Stage will spotlight even more of the province’s top emerging talent all weekend long.
